Why choose a live band over a disco?
There are some great DJs out there but how much more impressive would a live 12 piece band look and sound to your guests? It is our mission to provide the best entertainment for you and your guests and we love to interact with our audiences.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible really as we are especially busy around the Summer season and at Christmas time.
How do I confirm a booking?
By signing and returning a booking / contract form which we'll send you. We also ask for a 10% non - returnable deposit to secure the date with us.
How much space do you require?
Ideally we would require 12' x 24' but we can sometimes setup differently to suit the venue. We will gladly visit the venue before confirming a booking should you be unsure, with no obligation of course.
Do you provide your own sound equipment?
Yes, we have a dedicated technician that sets up and operates this for us. We also provide stage and disco lighting all included in the quotation we give you.
What are the band's requirements on the day?
All we ask for is the provision of some soft drinks for our performance which can be just plain old simple tap water. A room to store our equipment cases and to change in. For you and your guests to enjoy yourselves !
What do you wear?
We usually wear all black but we can dress more formally if required. This may incurr extra charges should we need to hire.
Can I see the band before I book?
We can sometimes arrange this but most of our gigs are private and would need special permission. It is possible to come along to one of our rehearsals though by prior arrangement.
How much do you charge?
Possibly less than you might expect! We offer great value for money bearing in mind the size of the band. Let us know where, when and what your requirements are and we?ll tailor an individual quote.
How much set up time do you require?
We would require a minimum of 2 hours to setup our equipment and to sound check but we can arrange the timings of this to fit in with your requirements.
How long do you normally play for?
We normally perform 2 sets of an hour with a at least a 20 minute break in between but this can be tailored to your requirements.
How much power supply do you require?
We would require a minimum of 4 x 13 amp sockets which should be near to the performance area. It is very important that we know of any sound restrictions / limiters as these devices can be a serious disruption to our performance and can result in major damage to our equipment. Please ask us for advice if you are unsure and we can arrange to contact the venue directly on your behalf.
Do you play disco / background music when the band are not playing?
Yes we can keep your party going with a big selection of popular disco music or other music genre as requested. We do not provide a DJ but this could be arranged at additional cost.
Can I request a song that isn't on your current playlist ?
We wouldn't rule it out with enough notice, but we may apply a fee for this as we may have to acquire a musical arrangement. We can cater for requests of audio music free of charge though.
